Walgreens I made 10.80!

Did this deal twice it was so good!

Ecotrin 45 count x 5 at 3.49
Complete Contact Solution 12oz x1 at 7.99

Minus the coupons!
GIVE THEM THE MANUFACTURERS first. And then after she/he enters, give them the walgreens flyer coupon.

By the way the coupon will beep, she will need to enter the $7.00 or $10.00 amount.
It beeps at everyone, its just the way its in the system.

$7.00 off any 2 Advantage Products ,10/11 Redplum (Ecotrin is pictured and named)
$10.00 off any 3 Advantage Products,10/11 Redplum (Ecotrin is pictured and named)
$1.00 off Complete, 10/25 Redplum

Then after she entered these I finished tearing the ONE coupon out of the Wag's sale flyer
$1.99 Ecotrin with In Ad Coupon x5, the register will automatically ring it to x5
=2.61 OOP, out of pocket with tax

And I got back a $8.00 Walgreens Register Reward.

I did the deal twice, I am thinking DIAPERS next week or this one. Pampers is on sale this week 2/$20.
Not a great deal, but if you have 2 $1.50 coupons (11/29 P&G) you are only paying 1 buck after 2 rewards.

You could just skip the Complete contact solution if you don't need it, and be sure to have 7.50 bucks worth of stuff
to cover the overage. Or buy the solution and donate it to a food pantry.

Harry's Whole Foods

Thanks to a tip from my friend Sarah, I went to Harry's on Wednesday for free pizza for the kids. Its a half slice, but its enough.
I had to buy one for myself because it looked so good.

On sale was

Organic Russett Potatoes
5lb bag for 2.99

This is pretty good, the best price at Trader joes' is closer to 4 bucks.

Earthbound Organic Salads
5oz for 2.49 (reg. price)
There is a 1.00 coupon in the Whole Foods flyer when you come in the door.
Final Price $1.49
(I have been liking salads more lately than my usual raw spinach)

Organic Golden Delicious Apples from North Carolina
3lb bag for 3.50
These usually go for 4 bucks at Trader Joes and they come from across the sea or the land...Buy local when
you can afford it!

I have discovered some other good deals at Harry's. Which I honestly thought I would never shop there because
of their prices. But if you know your prices you can pick and choose...
Sea Salt 1.49
Baking Powder Aluminum Free 1.49 (I think, either way cheaper than Rumsford at Walmart).

And one more tip. Go on Saturdays, thats when they have lots of great free samples out. I love the cheese department!

Publix Rocks!

My husband and his friend won the Publix Braves cookout challenge a couple of weeks ago.
All winners are invited back to compete for the finale.

Today was the day and they won!

Publix is my favorite store.
Pretty much the nicest cashiers...And certainly the best prize pickers I have ever seen!

Need Tide? CVS this week

When I do buy Tide, its best to aim for under 4 bucks a bottle (32Loads).

Proctor and Gamble (P&G) special this week at CVS spend 25 get 10 ECB back.
If you have some ECB's this could be a GREAT deal. Also the Dawn Hand Renewal is on sale this week as part of the Dawn sale.
Lucky you if they have a) have them in stock b)have a $1.00 Dawn Hand Renewal coupon from one of the P&G home mailers.
I had 2 coupons but not in stock. I will be checking out another CVS later this week.. Cuz hey free dish detergent.

Transaction #1

4 bottles of Tide $6.00 each
1 bottle of Dawn $1.00 (they were out of stock of Hand Renewal)
1 CVS Insoles (coupon from the scanner) $2.49

Minus the Coupons
-$5/25 Take the CVS flu quiz here and print out your coupon
-$4.00 ($1.00 x 4), Tide P&G 09/27
-$.025 any Dawn, P&G 09/27
-1.00 ECB (it was expired yesterday and she said she would take it:)
-$2.49 Free CVS insole

=$14.89 plus tax, plus I got back 10 ECB's. So really if you had 10 ECB's you would of only had paid 5 bucks for 5 tides and a dawn! Pretty good I say!
